You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions.
You agree to use Stagecheck only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
Stagecheck and all its content — including the checklist content, postcode intelligence logic, design, code and branding — is owned by us and protected by copyright. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property other than to use the service as intended.
Your project data — the names, details and information you enter — remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your data.
Stagecheck is a compliance support tool. It does not constitute professional advice. The checklist content, reminders and references provided are intended as prompts and aids to memory — not as a definitive or exhaustive statement of your professional or statutory obligations.
You remain solely responsible for the adequacy, accuracy and completeness of your professional work. Use of Stagecheck does not discharge any duty of care, professional obligation or statutory requirement.
We make no warranty that the checklist content is complete, current or appropriate for your specific project. Building regulations, planning legislation and professional standards change — always verify against current published documents.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, claim or professional consequence arising from your use of or reliance on Stagecheck, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
We aim to keep Stagecheck available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or withdraw features at any time. During the beta period the service is provided free of charge — we reserve the right to introduce paid plans in future with reasonable notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the application. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or to the service. We will endeavour to give notice where possible.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On closure we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
